The Children Who Make Our Hair Ties
We want to be good stewards in all aspects of Zazzy Bandz. Finding a purpose for ribbon remnants helped provide an opportunity to partner with several special education classes at Morristown West High School in Morristown, TN.
These students made our hair ties throughout the year when they had available time. Their lead teacher, Lacey Price Evans, stated, “We enjoyed creating batches for Zazzy Bandz throughout this school year!”
Zazzy Bandz is thrilled to extend our ministry arm to include these students who are working on job readiness skills. Making ZB hair ties allows them to work on hand-eye coordination, measurement, and working together as a team to complete each batch…. Plus, they had fun working together. To honor their work, Zazzy Bandz provided a pizza party and the frozen-ice truck on their last day of school. Everyone had a great time. Below are photos of these students and their teachers working and then enjoying the party. We are honored to be a part of these students’ skills development!
A portion of each Zazzy Bandz purchase goes to Peniel Centre Orphanage, a ministry with a purpose. Bulawayo, Zimbabwe is across the big pond and then some from America, yet, we are helping previously unwanted homeless children have their forever homes. “To whom much is given, much is required.” The vision in this verse is a call to serve and give hope. Thank you for being a part of this bigger vision by purchasing Zazzy Bandz.
More to come,
